PRE & POST TREATMENT ADVICE & FAQ’S

    • If you are taking medication, for example, Steroids, Accutane and Antibiotics, please let us know prior to booking as doctors consent may be required.

    • Avoid using active products containing AHA, BHA, retinoids, exfoliates and enzymes.

    • Avoid hair removal treatments, including waxing in the treatment area.

    • Avoid exfoliating procedures.

    • Avoid excessive exposure to sun light, including sunbeds.

    • Avoid botox/filler (at least two weeks).

  • Following the post-treatment advice helps to minimise any sensations, possible side effects or adverse reactions of your treatment.

    • Apply hydrating mists, serums and moisturisers to avoid dryness.

    • Avoid touching your face.

    • Avoid heat treatments for 24 hours, including steam rooms, saunas and swimming.

    • Avoid exercise for 24 hours to reduce the likelihood of sweat entering the pores.

    • Avoid exfoliating for at least five days post-facial.

    • Use a sunscreen everyday.

    • Drink plenty of water and less caffeine.

    • Possible redness and irritation.

    • Possible breakouts due to exfoliation.

    • Possible headache – make sure to drink plenty of water.

    If a reaction occurs, remove all products with cool water and apply a cool compress. Take an antihistamine should you feel the need.
